Film Library

MSU's American Indian Studies Program (AISP) maintains a collection of films that facilitate thought and discussion of American Indian issues and representations. This collection contains films from independent and Hollywood studios, documentaries, live performances, dramas, adventures, and more. Presently the main film format is VHS,.

Lending Policy

We lend to any MSU faculty member. Additionally, we will consider lending to graduate students with faculty sponsors or student groups with faculty sponsors on a case-by-case basis. Films should be checked out close to the date of use and returned immediately after the event. However, films may be held for longer periods of time for research purposes on a case-by-case basis and if the borrower is willing to make every effort to return the film if others request it.
