The Last of the Mohicans . G. B. Seitz. 1936.

Adventure/Drama/War. VHS. 91 minutes. (Binnie Barnes, Randolph Scott.)

Set in 1757 during the French and Indian War, two sisters, Alice and Cora, set out in the dangerous war zone to join their father, a British commander. Hawkeye, the renegade Yankee scout and his Mohican friends come to their aid. Together they must evade capture by the French forces, while fighting the savagery of hostile Indians. This 1936 classic is the story of courage, honor, and romance. (source: tape case copy)
