A Language and Culture Weekend in the Residential College of Arts and Humanities!

• Friday February 22nd 7-9pm Ojibwe Language Quiz Bowl

• Saturday February 23rd 1-5pm Language Pow-Wow

• Saturday Febrary 23rd, 5-6:30pm "Dig the Mix, the diverse artistic practice of Hock E aye Vi Edgar Heap of Birds." - presentation by the artist, following Pow-Wow.

AISP is excited to have both spring language events hosted in the new Performance Space at the Residental College of Arts and Humanities here at MSU, located in the renovated Snyder-Phillips Hall. In addition, we will have a presentation by artist Hock E aye Vi Edgar Heap of Birds following the Pow-Wow. Heap of Birds will be a visiting scholar in the Residential College in the 2008-09 school year. The Auditorium is well designed for our dancers, and has seating for 140 people. Come join us for these fun events.
