Accomodations

• A block of rooms has been reserved at The Marriott at University Place, just one block north of the university. Rooms are reserved at $119 (plus tax) per night, if you make a reservation on/before February 18th.

• A list of area hotels is available from the MSU Controller's Office. Prices may have changed since the list was made. For most hotels in the area, excluding the Marriott, ground transportation will be necessary to get to the MSU Union.

• For those seeking cheaper fare, we have reserved a block of dormitory rooms in the Owen Graduate Residence Hall. These rooms are singles, with ethernet connection and linens provided. Bathrooms are shared with an adjoining room. The cost is $36.00 per night, which includes $8.50 towards food at the Residence Hall Cafeteria. There are several buses on campus that can get you to the MSU Union from Owen Hall, the best option being the #31 Bus. Bus fare is $1 each way. To reserve a room, call Owen Hall at (517) 355-5068 and ask to reserve a room for the 'American Indian Studies Program Conference in March'.
